Punta Cana is the Dominican Republic's all-inclusive engine room: a long ribbon of white sand on the island's east coast, backed by more large resorts than anywhere else in the Caribbean. It is the easiest place to find a big, well-run, genuinely all-inclusive property at a fair price, and the direct flights from most US hubs make it a short hop.
